Scott is a Senior Director with more than 30 years of experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, client relationship management, and new business development with companies ranging from multi-national consulting firms, publicly traded software ventures, professional services firms, and private entrepreneur entities.
With Accordion, Scott focuses on identifying, nurturing and acquiring new clients and business opportunities to drive Western Region profitability and growth. He specializes in building, retaining and expanding business client relationships.
Prior to joining Accordion, Scott spent five years at Wright Ford Young & Co., a regional CPA and consulting firm in Orange County, as Managing Director of Business Development. Prior to that, Scott spent six years with two national CPA firms in Orange County, and eight years with a big 4 firm in Los Angeles. In addition, Scott spent 15 years with companies serving healthcare and technology industries in the western US.
Scott has worked in various strategic roles with the responsibility of growing market share, building client loyalty, and expanding business relationships within the client base and centers of influence.
His experience includes working with companies in the healthcare, life sciences, financial services, private equity, manufacturing, distribution, business services, real estate, hospitality, restaurant, consumer, energy, and information technology industries.
Scott started his career learning about consultative sales and relationship development while advancing through Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical sales and management training program.
Scott graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Marketing, and from Pepperdine University with a MBA in Marketing and Finance.
