Sarah is a CPA and Managing Director with over 15 years of experience providing financial advisory services to clients, with a focus on health care. Sarah has experience in a variety of healthcare sectors, including physician practices, hospitals, pharmaceutical, medical device, and information technology, and is a subject matter expert in Health Care Provider revenue recognition.
At Accordion, Sarah has assisted Health Care companies with improving their financial processes, with a focus on revenue recognition. Representative engagements include post merger integration and financial accounting support for a Revenue Cycle Management company, development of revenue recognition models for various physician practices, dental service organizations and other service providers. Sarah has also acted as an interim CFO and developed board reporting materials for clients.
Prior to joining Accordion, Sarah was a Senior Manager at Deloitte in the Health Care Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures practice. During her 6 years at Deloitte, she advised financial and strategic buyers on pre-acquisition due diligence, financial reporting aspects of transactions, Day 1 readiness, and post-merger integration. Sarah primarily focused on the health care provider sector, with a focus on distressed hospitals, physician practices and long-term care facilities. Sarah has experience in a variety of healthcare sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical device, information technology, and consumer and industrial products.
Sarah started her career at Ernst & Young, where she spent 4 years providing financial assurance services across a variety of sectors, including health care, medical device, information technology, venture capital, and energy.
Sarah currently serves on the finance committee of a nonprofit organization, Victim Rights Law Center, based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sarah graduated with honors from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Management and Business, and the University of Virginia with a M.S. in Accounting. Sarah is a Certified Public Accountant.
