Penny Tehrani-Littrell is a Managing Director and General Counsel with over two decades of legal, regulatory, and compliance experience at large multi-national companies in financial services/investment banking and consumer products/retail. At Accordion, she oversees the legal and compliance matters for the firm.
Before joining Accordion in 2023, Penny was the Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Revlon Inc. (formerly NYSE: REV) responsible for the global legal, compliance and physical security functions of a $2.2B+ iconic consumer products company with a large portfolio of brands, including Elizabeth Arden, offered through omni-channels in over 150 countries worldwide. She served as Revlon’s Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors and as a member of Revlon’s executive leadership team.
Prior to joining Revlon in 2021, she spent 20 years in the financial services and investment banking industries, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Legal for Nomura, a Japanese global investment bank, running a multi-disciplinary team supporting Nomura’s global investment banking and financial services operations in the Americas, including its fintech execution services trading arm – Instinet — as well as Nomura Greentech. During her tenure at Nomura and Instinet, she advised Nomura’s and Instinet’s senior management locally and globally on a wide range of business matters, including a number of the firm’s principal M&A, divestitures, private equity and venture investments, digital asset transactions, corporate and technological transformations, financings, as well as strategic hires and geographic expansions in support of Nomura Group’s growth strategy.
Prior to joining Nomura in 2005, she practiced as a commercial litigator with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP in New York and represented many multi-national companies in financial services, insurance, real estate, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, and other industries on complex commercial, restructuring, and regulatory matters. Prior to her tenure at Stroock, Penny held various corporate roles with Oppenheimer Funds and Cowen & Company (currently, TD Cowen Securities).
Penny graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School (J.D.) and cum laude from Binghamton University (B.A.). She is a member of the Bar in the State of New York.
