Pamela is a Managing Director and Head of Accordion’s Operational & Technical Accounting Advisory Practice. She has two decades of experience stemming from roles at the Big 4, private equity, public and privately held companies. A certified public accountant, Pamela provides execution leadership and project execution for merger integration, business process improvement, financial close acceleration, and visibility reporting.
Representative Accordion engagements include private equity portfolio companies for The Carlyle Group, New Mountain Capital, H.I.G. Capital, FFL Partners, and Permira. Across engagements, Pamela works with senior management, finance/accounting, operations and technology teams, and private equity operations teams. Her industry experience spans Manufacturing, Consumer, Healthcare, Technology, and Business Services.
Before joining Accordion, Pamela served as both Controller and Director of Financial Systems at Refinery29, a leading digital lifestyle media company. As Controller, she streamlined business operations to drive growth, increase efficiency and maximize bottom-line profit. As Director of Financial Systems, her focus expanded to leveraging technology for finance and whole-business operations, improving process across the organization with relevant, real-time data. During her time at Refinery29, Pamela saw the company through several successful funding rounds.
Prior to Refinery29, Pamela was Vice President at KKR & Co. where she managed the financial reporting team for KKR’s family of Private Equity Funds. During her tenure, she oversaw a growing team, implemented accounting software specific to private equity and supported the company through a successful IPO.
Pamela began her career at Deloitte & Touche working primarily on tax compliance for private equity funds and high net worth individuals.
She earned her Masters and Bachelors in Accounting from St. John’s University.
