Gregg Erickson

Gregg Erickson

Gregg is a Director with over two decades of consulting, advisory, and performance improvement experience with a focus largely in the healthcare and life sciences space. Gregg specializes in driving results across the business continuum including strategy development, opportunity assessment, process redesign, technology optimization, and financial performance modeling.

Before joining Accordion, Gregg spent over 20 years with leading healthcare consulting firms focusing on optimizing revenue cycle operations, facilitating financial turnarounds, driving business transformation, and guiding benefit realization of technology implementations from system selection through post go-live refinement. Prior to his years in consulting, Gregg served in an operational improvement role for a major integrated health system.

Gregg has provided transaction advisory services for private equity groups, including operation and financial due diligence, and post-merger integration. Representative transactions ranged across acute care hospitals, urgent care clinics, laboratory services, dental practice management, business process outsourcing, group physician practices, and healthcare related technologies.

His experience includes business process design engagements with unconventional, forward-thinking organizations driven by private equity investment to define strategy, accelerate sustainability, establish consistency, and provide scale for growth. A few examples of progressive offerings supported include advanced pain management solutions and comprehensive “hospital at home” urgent care visits.

An example of Gregg’s background includes leading the implementation of a Regional Business Office (RBO) for a nationwide for-profit hospital system. The project included transition of five hospital-based business offices into one regional office and the conversion of two sites to a new patient accounting technology platform. Support resulted in the successful transition of all facilities within a three month period.

Gregg graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. degree in Health Systems Engineering.
