Brian is a Managing Director with over two decades of experience spanning a variety of sectors including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and technology services. He focuses on transforming finance operations using digital solutions, operating model redesign, and process improvement.
Prior to joining Accordion, Brian spent 10 years as a Partner at Ernst & Young. While at EY, he helped found the Enterprise Intelligence practice, bringing enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities to improve business performance. He has worked across industry sectors, often leading post merger integration efforts across the finance function. As the Northeast Advisory leader for Accounting Change, Brian also designed solutions enabling clients to automate compliance efforts through improved use of technology and process design.
Brian began his career at KPMG Consulting (which became BearingPoint) where he was promoted to Managing Director. There, he ran the Enterprise Performance Management practice, helping client’s drive value through improved financial close, consolidation, planning, and budgeting – leveraging a combination of technology design and implementation, process reengineering, and optimized organizational structures.
Brian graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems. He has completed the Executive Education curriculum at both Yale University in New Haven Connecticut, and the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Singapore.
