Wing Wong

Wing is a Managing Director with over 20 years of professional experience  in providing financial consulting services for clients in such industries as consumer products, retail, pharmaceuticals, bio-tech, tech, manufacturing, transportation  and  logistics. She has helped many clients in operational improvement, due diligence, and interim management roles.

Prior to joining  Accordion, Wing spent over a decade at AlixPartners assisting client senior management teams during critical times to resolve complex issues. Her work there included restructuring, post-acquisition integration, liquidity management, managing and improving finance and accounting departments, reengineering and implementing new policies and procedures, and analyzing operational and financial data.

Wing most recently advised a private equity fund with over $75 billion assets under management in setting up the finance function for its consumer products carve-out transaction and acting in the capacity of a CFO to get to day-1 readiness. There, she planned the finance organization structure, identified and bridged gaps in the transition service agreement, developed the day-1 budget and value creation plan, enabled legal and operational entities based on a tax optimization structure, and stood-up a treasury and risk management function.

Wing has also advised the CFO of a private equity sponsored $1+ billion revenue foodservice manufacturer prior to and during its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. Her work there included managing the company’s finance and accounting teams and deeply involved in reviewing and finalizing consolidated financial filings, cost accounting and customer/product profitability analyses, budgets/forecasts and management reports, developing and implementing process improvement initiatives, and preparing for fresh start accounting.

Wing received her B.A. from the University of California Berkeley.
