Will is a Director within Accordion’s CFO Tech practice with nearly ten years of experience in financial reporting and system implementation for companies ranging from PE-backed to Fortune1000. Will specializes in the deployment of financial consolidation and close, forecasting, and analytic solutions.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Will has gained deep experience helping companies from a broad range of industries report financial data. This gives him the unique perspective of both being a consumer and builder of performance management systems for real-world needs. A few common use cases include non-standard ownership (equity pickup, minority interest, etc.), cash flow analysis, and account reconciliation compliance.
Before joining Accordion, Will was a Solutions Architect at Platform Specialists (acquired by Accordion in 2022) where he focused on the implementation of performance management solutions to support financial close and consolidation, account reconciliations, and planning and forecasting. Will’s implementation engagements primarily involved Oracle and Anaplan, as well as other market leading platforms.
Prior to Platform Specialists, Will was a Manager with both KPMG and Ernst & Young. In these roles, he was focused primarily on tax compliance for private equity funds, hedge funds, and management companies.
Will earned both his M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a licensed CPA.
