Role Description: Strategic Operations Leader

Accordion’s Global Operations team focuses on consulting operations, sales operations, and strategic operations – all the elements that support our client professionals to do what they do best: provide exceptional and differentiated services and solutions to our clients. We work collaboratively with our business and practice leaders to enhance the way we service our clients, continually develop our people and deliver on the better way to work in finance.

We are actively recruiting sophisticated professionals with strong professional services experience to join our team. You will provide extensive support on various organizational initiatives as part of a dynamic, growth-minded global organization.

Due to Accordion's hypergrowth performance, we now have a newly created Leadership role that will report into the Head of Global Operations. This position, Strategic Operations Leader, will be responsible for working with leaders across multiple business units on some of their most complex business challenges and working with cross-functional teams to find solutions. Taking operational leadership a step further, you roll up your sleeves to drive implementation, track impact, and navigate changing conditions.

This position must be based out of our Chicago, Dallas, or New York offices and is a hybrid role. Candidates will need to be local to the areas, with opportunities for remote work 2-3 days per week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions Integration: Manage the integration planning and execution process, as well as direct the activities of the PMO. Participate in due diligence as necessary
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with various teams, including sales, marketing, product development, finance, and human resources. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG): Work closely with ESG Steering Committee to lead the development and implementation of the Firm's ESG Strategy
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives and organizational transformation efforts, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the Firm
  • Global Centralized Services Center (GCSC): Implement firm's GCSC off-shore strategy, and establish, monitor and report against service level agreement and key-performance benchmarks to ensure operational excellence

Ideally, You Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience
  • M&A Integration, Strategy, and operations experience in a top tier Professional Services Firm
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) experience is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of leading complex enterprise-wide organizational change
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment

Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 + benefits + bonus

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
